It is very time efficient to do the priorities first, but a major inefficiency would be incorrectly identifying the priorities in the first place. What to do?

Quickly and accurately targeting a priority allows for more time to deal with it. The million dollar question then would be “How do you know what the real priorities are?”

In order to know the real priorities an end goal must be held in mind. With this future situation in mind think of the activity you need to do. Does it really matter to the achievement of the end goal? Or is it a extraneous time eater you can do without?

This simple technique can save much wasted effort, and help one achieve far more with far less.

One penny is not a lot. Many would shun it if it lies on the street. Those who shun the free money also would like to be financially well off. Yet, by picking up the penny they would be moving one step closer to their goal.

As in health, we know what we should eat, yet may not. So in finance. Schools teach many subjects, but many are not taught with practical application. Financial health is poor, and our bank balance may appear undernourished.

We know the importance of looking after our finances when we try to exist on a lack of it. Surviving on £20 a week is an instructive life lesson.

It is pennies that make pounds, and taking the time to plan and exercise a strategy for looking after those pennies is time well spent. Increased financial fitness will be the result.

From the days of the tower of Babel till the days of the babelfish to come, we communicate across the world in different tongues.
This difference in communication has lead to many misunderstandings and results in numerous wars, all because we fail to understand and respect each others needs. There is but one planet and many tongues reside therein, so what can we do about this?
Speaking another language is a practical step to take in order to better understand our neighbours on the planet, and perhaps through the passage of time, be less neighbours and more family.

The disparate division of food on the globe causes problems not only for those who have too little, but the health effects are well known for those who have too much.

The growth of shopping trolleys over the years and marketing methods used to influence people to consume more is well documented. This extra consumption only presents us with increased temptation to eat more.

Often the extra snack, or even meal, is not only extraneous to our body’s requirements, but also a waste of time that could be spent doing something more useful.

One affirmation I’ve used and found it to be a great time saver is to only eat when hungry. If at the end of a long day I’m more tired than hungry I’ll skip having a late dinner rather than just eating to ensure I’ve had a set amount of meals per day. I’ve found late meals to be the one that adds girth to the waist more than any other meal.

This has the added benefit that I awake earlier the next day, with a good appetite for the most important meal – breakfast.

When young it seems like a time wasting activity. Stretching is known to prevent injury and is a simple way to carry youth into old age.

With time we slowly lose the flexibility we once had, but the loss is gradual. So gradual in fact, that we may only notice the lack of flexibility when trying to do something we did a number of years before. Then we realise the gradual loss has accrued to quite a significant amount, such that we are now unable to complete the activity, or do so with increased difficulty.

With each passing day we lose a minute amount that the act of stretching will ensure we retain. Stretch each day and give the gift of flexibility to an elderly person – that is, to yourself in the future!

(A useful site with stretching exercises I stumbled into is http://www.thestretchinghandbook.com/ )

Wet shaving with a razor every day can be a chore for men. Epilating is an option, though not many would take it.
Rather than scraping your skin as well as the intended hair, shaving every other day is another option to keeping your face scar free.
In addition to the direct benefits of being scar free, and saving time, the facial skin would obviously benefit from not bathing in a multitude of chemicals. Aqua, Palmitic Acid, Triethanolamine, Isopentane, Glyceryl Oleate, Stearic Acid, Isobutane, Sorbitol, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Parfum (??), PEG-90M, Glycerin, Linalool, Propylene Glycol, Sodium Nitrate, Butylphenyl Methylpropional, Glyoxal, Silica, Polysorbate 60, Disodium Phosphate, CI 45350, CI 42090 are the listed ingredients on a can of [famous brand] shaving gel I’ve just looked at. Well I did say “multitude” didn’t I?
Apparently shaving foam should not be used to clean rocks (gravestones in particular) as it can damage them, and is also more acidic than acid rain.

Hmmmm. Shaving every other day is sounds healthier as well as quicker the more I read about shaving foam.

Electric razor anyone?
